Pop: Is Dad working late tonight?

Mom: Yes, would you like to call him to say goodnight?

Pop: Oh, yes!

Mom: Ok, here’s the phone. It’s ringing.

Pop: Hi Dad! I just wanted to say goodnight and I love you.

Dad: I love you too.

Pop: Do you want to talk to Crackle? I’ll get him!

Crackle: Hi Dad!

Pop: Wait.. tell him we watched Sister Act! I forgot to tell him.

Crackle: Dad, we watched Sister Act.

Pop: Oh, tell him what my favorite part was.

Crackle: Her favorite part was the really funny Nun who was..

Pop: Tell him what the very scary part for me was.

Crackle: Pop, I told you it’s just a story. It’s make believe. And really, who’s gonna shoot a nun?!

Pop: Oh, tell him we had ice cream for desert!

Crackle: Dad… we had ice cream for desert.

Pop: Tell him to kiss me goodnight and I want to feel it. Sometimes I think he forgets because I don’t feel it.

Crackle: Pop says…

Pop: Just tell him about my Math test tomorrow and what problems I don’t want to get wrong.

Crackle: Pop, you’re not going to get the two step multiplication wrong. I watched you and you practiced a lot and you got every single one right. You’ll be fine. Don’t worry. 

Pop: Oh yeah. 

Crackle: Ok, bye Dad. We’ll talk to you tomorrow.

Pop: Tell him I said bye..

Pop:  Mom! How was your class! Did you talk about me! Did you talk about me!! Mom:  Haha, actually I did. We talked about nature versus nurture.  So of course, I had to speak about my favorite set of twins :) Pop:  Which one am I?! Which one am I?! Mom:  Haha, well, it doesn’t quite work that way.  It’s not about which one you are.  Pop:  What’s the difference between... what’s the two words again? Nature and what else? Crackle:  It's simple.  Nature is what God gave you and Nurture is what Mom gave you.  Mom:  WHAT did you say???  Wait a minute...  Are you reading my text book again? Are you up to Chapter 3?!

Pop: Mom... I want everyone to be kind to one another. I don’t want any more bad things to happen to people, especially to children. How can I bring peace into the world?  I can imagine it, but I don’t know how to do it.  Can you help me figure out how I could do it?  Mom: Ahh, yes… I understand those feelings and the idea you have. That is a very beautiful and noble idea. We'll explore it together - as a family.  You know, there is a man who wrote a song about this very thing.  Let’s listen to it.  Pop: Really?  So I’m not the only one?  Mom: No, you are not.
