Pop: Mom, can I look on your computer for something?

Mom: Sure, what do you want to look up?

Pop: Tablets

Mom: Ok, you can do that but.. remember you already put that on your list to Santa so..

Pop: I just don’t think he’s gonna get it for me this year. 

Mom: Why do you say that? You only asked for that one thing and nothing else. I think you have a good chance of getting that.

Pop: No because all the other times I asked for things, Santa never got it for me the first time I asked him.

Mom: Oh no? Really? 

Pop: Nope. 

Mom: What did you ask for in the past that you didn’t get? 

Pop: Well, a skateboard. I never got the skateboard I wanted.

Mom: Well, I think Santa knows you well and wanted you to be safe so he got you the scooter instead. Remember? You liked the scooter, right!

Pop: Yes

Mom: See! Was there anything else?

Pop: …there was the pig.

Pop:  Mom! How was your class! Did you talk about me! Did you talk about me!! Mom:  Haha, actually I did. We talked about nature versus nurture.  So of course, I had to speak about my favorite set of twins :) Pop:  Which one am I?! Which one am I?! Mom:  Haha, well, it doesn’t quite work that way.  It’s not about which one you are.  Pop:  What’s the difference between... what’s the two words again? Nature and what else? Crackle:  It's simple.  Nature is what God gave you and Nurture is what Mom gave you.  Mom:  WHAT did you say???  Wait a minute...  Are you reading my text book again? Are you up to Chapter 3?!

Pop: Mom... I want everyone to be kind to one another. I don’t want any more bad things to happen to people, especially to children. How can I bring peace into the world?  I can imagine it, but I don’t know how to do it.  Can you help me figure out how I could do it?  Mom: Ahh, yes… I understand those feelings and the idea you have. That is a very beautiful and noble idea. We'll explore it together - as a family.  You know, there is a man who wrote a song about this very thing.  Let’s listen to it.  Pop: Really?  So I’m not the only one?  Mom: No, you are not. Pop: Well, I really didn’t think I was the only one.  But... can I talk to him? Maybe we could work on this together?
