Random Family Antics

Pop: Mom, can I look on your computer for something? Mom: Sure, what do you want to look up? Pop: Tablets Mom: Ok, you can do that but.. remember you already put that on your list to Santa so.. Pop : I just don’t think he’s gonna get it for me this year.  Mom: Why do you say that? You only asked for that one thing and nothing else. I think you have a good chance of getting that. Pop : No because all the other times I asked for things, Santa never got it for me the first time I asked him. Mom: Oh no? Really?  Pop : Nope.  Mom: What did you ask for in the past that you didn’t get?  Pop : Well, a skateboard. I never got the skateboard I wanted. Mom: Well, I think Santa knows you well and wanted you to be safe so he got you the scooter instead. Remember? You liked the scooter, right! Pop : Yes Mom: See! Was there anything else? Pop : …there was the pig.

In 2016.. Halloween looked just like this to me…. 12 Pots of coffee 11 Days preparing 10 Costume changes 9 Rounds of "I don’t want to wear this" 8 Trips to the Dollar Store 7 French toast dinners 6 Failed attempts at Pinterest 5 Loooooong hours of Trunk and Treat preeeeep.... 4 Carved pumpkins 3 Hours of Trick-or-treating 2 Class parties and 1 Halloween night-time bash,1 school Trunk and Treat, 1 school Parade plus a visit to a local Haunted House ….ga nite folks

...when what to my wondering eyes should appear.. a school bus, and driver.. to take my  children from here!!!!! They all moved and hustled so lively and quick. . I knew their pretend  sore throats and tummy troubles would soon disappear. I waved my big hand as they  drove out of sight "HAPPY BACK TO SCHOOL TO YOU ALL!!" .. and to me a Ga-night.
